I had been rushing my assignment at the computer non-stop after a whole day’s work and suddenly, there was this voice that I couldn’t ignore. My back was facing the TV and I JUST had to turn around to see whose this amazing voice belonged to. Then BAMM! I was glamorized. That beautiful voice came from a dark-haired guy who looked liked he just stepped out from a Japanese manga. Adam Lambert was singing “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and I could never really get back to my assignment after that. That was the first time I actually laid my eyes on ‘American Idol’ and I followed the show dutifully till the end of the season to watch Adam.
After living 27 years of my life, I’ve never been crazy with any artiste till Adam. He makes me a hardcore fan of his, like a hopeless juvenile hooking on every glamtasy. I could never name someone like him who can possess such an unbelievable vocal range and a compelling presence that soars with every electrifying performance. Adam has the gift to connect to his audience that makes me melt when he sings soulful songs and bop when he’s being his glam-rocker self! His love for unique costumes and theatrical antics reflects his many entertaining elements of his persona. I am so happy for him that he is bringing his Glam Nation Tour all over the world!
Adam cherishes us, his Glamberts, and treats people with respect. Look at the way he treats his parents and his troupe. He is forever generous with his Glam hugs and his perfect smiles. Adam unknowingly unites his Glamberts all over the world, like a Glamily. I love Adam for his down-to-earth attitude, yet, articulate with his words. Even his most outrageous controversies impact me nothing but an ant’s bite. I also applaud the fact that Adam uses his stardom power to generate charity drives. He makes me a better, wholesome person! I’ve never donated so much before! He puts me to shame when I realised that I should have done that earlier. And I will continue to donate charitably for the rest of my life. Thanks to Adam Lambert =)
